When you engage your Deadbolt, the plunger now enters the Sovilok stainless steel receptacle which is secured in the studs of the building. On the hinge side, a stainless steel pin in the edge of the door interlocks as the door is closed with a receptacle installed through the doorframe into the studs of the building. The Door is literally tied to the building studs on both sides. This system can be installed just using common drill and boring bits with the instructions furnished.
